Soft tissue

Elite-sport methods, everyday bodies.

Deep, methodical hands-on work — the muscle side of the problem, addressed before and after the joint is corrected.

What it is

Hands-on treatment of muscle, tendon and fascia: releasing what's tight, restoring what's restricted, and working out which of it is causing the problem versus merely reacting to it. It's the foundation the other techniques build on.

Why it comes first

A joint that isn't moving well is usually surrounded by muscle that has adapted around the problem. Correct the joint without addressing that and the muscle tends to pull it straight back. That's a large part of why some people feel great for two days after treatment and then slide back.

Where the method comes from

Jake has spent decades in professional and elite sport, where the standard is simply higher — athletes need to be back on the field, and "a bit better" doesn't count. That's the same standard applied here to everyday bodies.

Who it's for

Anyone with persistent tightness, a recurring injury, or a body that's taken years of work or training. You don't need to be an athlete to benefit from being treated like one.
